EQUIVALENTS: 1 1/3 STARCH EQUIVALENTS & 1 FAT EQUIVALENT

INGREDIENTS
70 g (10 tablespoons) sugar-free biscuits, crushed
5 sheets filo pastry
5 g (4 ½ cups) Sweet & Balance Tabletop Sweetener
30 g (3 tablespoons) crushed walnuts
3 g (1 teaspoon) cinnamon
250 g green apples (around 3 apples), peeled and finely chopped
250 g pears (around 5 pears), peeled and finely chopped
70 g (3 tablespoons) low-fat butter
1 g (½ teaspoon) crushed cloves

PREPARATION
In a frying pan over low heat, place the finely chopped apples, the pears and the Sweet & Balance Tabletop Sweetener . Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it caramelise. Add the spices and the walnuts and stir the mixture. Butter each filo pastry sheet with the remaining butter and sprinkle with the crushed biscuits, placing one sheet on top of the other. On the last sheet, spread the fruit mixture.

Roll up carefully. Place the roll on a buttered baking pan and bake in a preheated oven, at 180°C, for about 30 minutes.
