EQUIVALENTS: 2 1/2 STARCH EQUIVALENTS & 1/2 FAT EQUIVALENT

INGREDIENTS
70 g (10 tablespoons) sugar-free biscuits, crushed
5 sheets filo pastry
5 g (1/4 cup) Sweet & Balance Tabletop Sweetener 
50 g (6 tablespoons) crushed cashews
50 g Sweet & Balance Bitter Chocolate cut in small pieces
10 g (3/4 tablespoon) orange zest
300 g green apples, peeled and finely chopped (around 2-3 apples)
200 g boiled chestnuts
70 g (3 tablespoons) low-fat butter

PREPARATION
In a frying pan over low heat, place the finely-chopped apples, the chestnuts and the Sweet & Balance Tabletop Sweetener. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it caramelise. Add the Sweet & Balance Bitter Chocolate in the pan, along with the spices and the cashews, and mix well. Butter each filo pastry sheet with the remaining butter and sprinkle with the crushed biscuits, placing one sheet on top of the other. On the last sheet, spread the apples and chestnut mixture.

Roll up carefully. Place the roll on a buttered baking pan and bake in a preheated oven, at 180°C, for about 30 minutes.
