EQUIVALENTS: 1 STARCH EQUIVALENT & 1 FAT EQUIVALENT

INGREDIENTS

170 g (7 tablespoons) light margarine at room temperature
200 g (1 cup) semi-skimmed milk, 1.5% fat
10 g (3/4 cup) lemon zest
500 g JOTIS Whole Wheat Farina
350 g green apples, grated (around 4 apples)
1 vanilla essence sachet
A pinch of salt
4 g (1 ½ teaspoons) cinnamon
9 eggs
40 g (2 cups) Sweet & Balance Tabletop Sweetener

PREPARATION
Place the margarine, the eggs and the Sweet & Balance Tabletop Sweetener in the mixer bowl and beat with the flat beater, until fluffy. Add the milk and the remaining ingredients. Add the apples and mix gently. Pour the batter in a well-buttered round or oblong cake pan and bake in a preheated oven on the convection setting, at 180οC, for about 40 minutes.
