1 packet Sweet & Balance Cake Mix
90 ml (1/2 teacup) olive oil
50 g. (1/2 teacup) crushed walnuts
2 green apples
3 tablespoons brandy
1 level teaspoon powdered cinnamon
Prepare the Sweet & Balance Cake mix following the instructions on the packet but without using one tablespoon of the mix. At the end, add the walnut, the brandy and a little cinnamon and beat for 1 minute longer. Cut the apple into small pieces, add it to the cake mix and beat lightly with a spoon. Slice the second apple and sprinkle it with the tablespoon of the cake mix which you kept behind and with the remaining cinnamon. Put the mixture into a circular tin or baking tray with a 24 cm diametre. Arrange the apple slices on the top of the cake. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 1 hour.
