1 1/2 EQUIVALENT SERVING OF STARCH AND 2 EQUIVALENT SERVINGS OF FAT
1 packet Sweet & Balance Cake Mix
1 bar of Sweet & Βalance Bitter Chocolate
200 g. (10 tablespoons) Sweet & Balance Strawberry Jam
125 g. (1 teacup) butter or margarine
The zest of 1 orange
50 g. (1/4 teacup) of fresh orange juice
50 g. grated walnuts
Beat mixture B with the butter or margarine and when it becomes light and fluffy add the egg and the orange zest. Then add the orange juice, the walnuts and mixture A and beat for one more minute. Use a pastry pipe to make approximately 40 biscuits and bake at 150° until they brown. When they have cooled down, spread a little jam on one biscuit and then place another on top of it. Repeat until you have used all the biscuits then put in the fridge. Melt the Sweet & Βalance Bitter Chocolate in a bain-marie and dip one side of each biscuit in the melted chocolate. Alternatively, you can just cover the biscuits with the melted chocolate.
